Boulos takes walks with Lula to try to reverse the Lula-Nunes vote | Blogs

When walking the streets of São Paulo, the campaign of Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) has tried to profile the most sought-after voters of his main opponent, Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB).

Internal numbers from Boulos’ campaign show that Nunes has 15% of voters who preferred Lula in 2022.

The remedy to try to attract this voter will be to guarantee not only joint appearances by Boulos and Lula on TV, but also the president’s commitment to helping the psolista’s management, if he wins the elections, according to the campaign’s surroundings.

Two walks with Lula, Boulos and the vice candidate, Marta Suplicy (PT), were scheduled for September 29th, a Sunday.

They will be together at the extremes of the east and south zones. The neighborhoods chosen were São Mateus and Grajaú.

Lula and Boulos will meet again on the eve of the election, on October 5, a Saturday. Together, they should take a walk, probably on Avenida Paulista, according to campaign interlocutors.

The final motto of Boulos’ campaign will be to try to prove that Nunes’ management is not good, but that he proposes a kind of safe change.

Boulos’ allies compare Nunes’ management to a dish of beans and rice, which isn’t very funny.

They point out that the mayor has a good rating for programs such as zero fares on Sundays, the blue band to prevent motorcycle accidents, construction works and queue-free daycare centers. But they suggest that it is possible to preach an image of advancement.

The problem, however, is that the vote for Ricardo Nunes is seen by Boulos’ campaign as a silent and passionless vote, for a mayor far from high approval ratings.
