British Foreign Minister: in the conflict in Ukraine, time is on the side of the West, not the Russian Federation

According to British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, in the conflict in Ukraine, time is on the side of the West, not Russia.

The head of the British Foreign Office expressed this opinion in an interview with The Sunday Times.

Why time is on the side of the West, according to Cameron

In an interview, the minister said that politicians and the media in the West should stop talking about the stalemate in the conflict in Ukraine.

Cameron said the West is more than capable of demonstrating that time is on its side and not on the side of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Our economy is 25 times larger than Russia’s, – noted the head of British diplomacy.

He also expressed the opinion that Moscow, having entered the conflict, had already suffered a huge strategic defeat.

The minister noted that he would convey this position to former US President Donald Trump if he is re-elected.

Cameron believes that interaction with Trump will have to be structured differently than with current US President Joseph Biden.

However, according to the minister, the British and American intelligence services and military are accustomed to and know how to work together, and the approaches of Great Britain and the United States to many problems are very close.

We can handle it. No matter what you have to deal with, concluded the British Foreign Minister.

He stressed that the situation in Ukraine worries him more than the Middle East conflict, since Russian policy is a challenge for a generation.

After returning from a tour of the Middle East, Cameron plans to pay increased attention to Ukraine, in particular, to discuss with American legislators the need to provide military assistance to Ukraine.

The minister also said that progress needs to be made on the issue of confiscation of Russia’s frozen assets, which will be discussed by the leaders of the Group of Seven countries on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, which will take place on February 16-18.

It was previously reported that NATO members have a future without the United States if Trump wins.
