According to British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley, fatigue from the conflict in Ukraine has become a big problem for the West.

The British Foreign Minister made this opinion in an interview with the British publication The House.

What Cleverly said about conflict fatigue in Ukraine

The head of British diplomacy said that moral fatigue from the Ukrainian conflict has become a big problem that Ukraine’s allies need to cope with.

Cleverly noted that countries around the world are facing various difficulties caused by the conflict in Ukraine.

The minister emphasized that stopping support for Ukraine would only worsen the current situation.

All this is hard and painful, but it will be even harder and more painful if we retreat, – said the head of the British Foreign Office.

Answering the question how the possible re-election of Donald Trump as US President will affect the situation around Ukraine,

Cleverly said Trump’s signature style can sometimes be surprisingly effective.

The British Foreign Secretary recalled that Trump had achieved significant success in normalizing relations between Arab states and Israel.

Commenting on the former US President’s promises to end the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours if he is re-elected, the minister noted that it would be strange not to want to conclude a peace agreement within 24 hours if this can really be done.

But we intend to stick to the line that seems effective to Great Britain, and it does not imply a quick and easy result, – summarized Cleverly.
