Starting next month, Bulgaria will begin issuing Schengen visas to Russians.
Registration of permits starts on April 1.

It is noted that the Bulgarian side will issue Schengen visas for citizens of the Russian Federation for the first time.
Russians will be able to apply for a Schengen visa at the beginning of the second spring month.
The Bulgarian embassy emphasized that Russians will wait in line for the same amount of time as other Schengen countries.
Also, the diplomatic mission of Bulgaria in Russia spoke about the peculiarities of using visas, which have been and will be issued until the beginning of April.
It is emphasized that a type C visa will allow you to enter Bulgaria and travel to Romania and Cyprus. But a type D visa will give you the opportunity to make short trips to other countries in the Schengen area.
