0views

The media learned about the supply of anti-radar missiles to Ukraine from the United States.

The US Department of Defense chose not to advertise these deliveries.

The publication reported this on August 18.

What kind of missiles are supplied?

Information about the use of American missiles by the Ukrainian army, designed to identify and destroy radar equipment, appeared in early August.

Reports about this were spread by Russian bloggers who discovered fragments of HARM anti-radar missiles in the field.

Later, the US Department of Defense confirmed the supply of such missiles to Ukraine.

According to Colin Kohl, deputy head of the Pentagon for political affairs, the deliveries included anti-radar missiles that can be launched from Ukrainian aircraft and affect Russian radars. Kol did not specify which missiles were supplied.

According to the publication, we are talking about AGM-88 HARM missiles. Business Insider notes that the use of these missiles could have only a limited impact on the course of hostilities, since aviation did not become a decisive factor in the conflict due to Kyiv’s lack of modern fighters.
