Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, speaking in Brussels at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, promised a “surprise” for Ukraine.
The NATO Secretary General did not deny Callas’ statement.
RIA Novosti that Jens Stoltenberg expressed confidence that the alliance members will come to a common agreement regarding the Ukrainian issue.
The summit will be held on July 11 and 12, 2023 – at the moment, decisions are being developed by the administrations of the countries that are members of the alliance.
Kallas said that the only security guarantee for Ukraine is NATO, but she does not want to spoil the surprise of the Vilnius summit.
Stoltenberg said that during the summit decisions could be made on long-term NATO support for Ukraine.
The Secretary General also noted that at the moment it is too early to predict the results of the summit – consultations are currently underway.
