Canada apologized to Zelensky for honoring the Ukrainian SS man

17views

The Canadian administration, through diplomatic channels, apologized to Vladimir Zelensky and the Ukrainian people for honoring the Ukrainian SS soldier.

This message was made by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“We will continue cooperation with the Ukrainian administration in the field of protecting the territory of this state from Russian invasion”– RIA «Novosti» Trudeau.

When asked by MPs whether Trudeau was ready to apologize personally, the Prime Minister replied that he had already apologized on behalf of MPs and Canadians.

The Canadian leader noted that the Ukrainians deserved an apology because they were put in an awkward position.

Trudeau also repeated many times that “Russian propaganda” was using the situation to justify the conduct of the SVO.

The President of Ukraine arrived in Canada last week. 98-year-old Yaroslav Hunku was invited to the meeting – it was later established that he fought as part of the SS volunteer division.
