The Chinese authorities have expanded the scope of the program to vaccinate the country’s population against COVID-19.

According to the government’s decision, the vaccine will now be given not only to teenagers, but also to children aged three to 11 years. The immunization of children who have recovered from Covid has also been regulated.

Foreign media write that Beijing has already begun vaccinating children against coronavirus.

Immunization is available, but those children who have recently had a coronavirus infection will not be vaccinated until six months after full recovery.

It was previously reported that the vaccination rate of the population in China has already reached 75%.

However, the country’s authorities are concerned about the increase in the number of local outbreaks of COVID-19 in the country.

In this regard, it was decided to start immunizing young children.

It is known that only 25 cases of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus have been identified in Beijing to date.

The day before it was reported that strict quarantine measures were introduced in the city of Lanzhou.

The authorities asked the population of the city of almost four million not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary.

It is also known that drugs from local manufacturers Sinovac and Sinopharm were previously approved for vaccination of children in China.
