The Chinese Foreign Ministry reacted rather sharply to Joe Biden’s statement in which he called Xi Jinping a dictator.
And this happened after negotiations between the leaders of the two countries, which, by the way, the US President described as “one of the most constructive and productive.”
He also said that as a result of the conversation with his Chinese colleague, “real progress” was achieved.
At the same time, Biden said that he still considers Xi Jinping a dictator.
This statement is extremely erroneous and irresponsible, China resolutely opposes political manipulation, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Mao Ning, news agency MIA “Russia Today”.
According to her, there are always people with ulterior motives who are trying to create a provocation in order to undermine relations between Beijing and Washington.
However, Lady Ning told such people, their efforts in this direction will not be successful.
Let us add that the meeting between Joe Biden and Xi Jinping lasted several hours.
Following the conversation, the American president notified the general public that he and the distinguished guest from China had “taken tangible steps in the right direction.”
And the Celestial Foreign Ministry added: the parties have defined a plan for the implementation of “healthy and stable development of relations.”
