Chinese Foreign Ministry: The US is preventing other countries from establishing a peaceful dialogue on Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China said that the United States is preventing other countries from establishing a peaceful dialogue on Ukraine.

This statement was made on March 24 by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning.

Commenting on a statement by White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby that Washington is against obstructing measures aimed at isolating Russia, Ning said that the United States is adding fuel to the fire of the Ukrainian conflict and preventing other countries from establishing a peaceful dialogue.

China, according to the diplomat, plays a constructive role in resolving the conflict through political methods.

Ning emphasized that the partnership between Beijing and Moscow is not directed against third parties.

Beijing and Moscow carry out mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries and the whole world, – quotes the diplomat.

Also, a representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that the United States, in an effort to ensure its hegemony on the world stage, is persecuting and trying to isolate individual countries.

Let us recall that the day before Kirby said that the United States is against the actions of other countries, which, according to Washington, make it easier for Russia to carry out a special operation in Ukraine.

According to a White House spokesman, in light of increasing economic cooperation between China and Russia, the United States does not support moves by other countries to prevent attempts to isolate Moscow.
