Ciro Nogueira: I’m tired of the dispute between left and right

Senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI) stated this Friday (11), during the Esfera Forum in Rome, that he is tired of the political polarization that has become the dispute between left and right in Brazil.

“Everyone knows my total loyalty to the former president (Jair Bolsonaro), but I myself am tired of this dispute and (I hope) that we will unify our country”, declared the senator.

According to the former chief minister of the Civil House, the center was the main winner of this year’s municipal elections so far.

“We have a society, you saw, that just came out of an election in which society opted for the center. Neither the left nor the right won. It was the center that won”, said Nogueira.

“I hope that now, based on this message that came from the polls, we will start to unify our country, turn the page on this dispute a little”, added the parliamentarian.

For the senator, it is up to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to unify the country in the face of political polarization.

“We came out of an election (presidential in 2022), the most divided in our history, and it was up to the President of the Republic to unify the country, but we continue to increase this division even further”, commented the senator.
