The passengers of the Titan bathyscaphe, the wreckage of which was discovered the day before in the Atlantic Ocean, died painlessly.

This was reported by the American television channel CNN, citing experts.

What the experts said

According to experts whose opinion is cited, it is unlikely that the bodies of the victims will be discovered.

As Florida International University professor Eileen Maria Marti said, the body of the bathyscaphe collapsed incredibly quickly, in a fraction of a millisecond.

All of this probably happened before the people inside could even realize there was a problem. Ultimately it was painless – stated the expert.

Earlier, Blair Thornton, a professor at the University of Southampton, said that the Titan experienced such pressure during its destruction as if the Eiffel Tower had fallen on it.
