Ukrainian Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin announced the creation of production facilities for the manufacture of UAVs.
The plant will produce unmanned aerial vehicles of the Bayraktar model.
RIA Novosti that Kyiv and Ankara previously signed an agreement on the development of the production of unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of the Ukrainian state.
Minister Kamyshin reports that construction work on this plant has already begun – negotiations have been held on this project for a long time.
He notes that currently a lot of resources are being spent on updating the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and, first of all, funds are spent on creating ammunition.
Kamyshin notes that the pace of production is far from the real needs of the Ukrainian army.
It was previously reported that production of the Bayraktar UAV model will be launched in 2025.
Many military analysts have already called the confrontation between Ukraine and Russia a kind of drone war.
