It has become known that vaccination against coronavirus infection has become mandatory in Singapore.
It is worth noting that more than 80% of the citizens of this country have undergone voluntary immunization. For the rest, the government has developed a number of measures that are unpopular in society.
In the context of the spread of the “Delta” strain of coronavirus infection, the Singapore authorities decided to make vaccination against covid mandatory.
In order for the population to more actively show interest in the procedure, those who do not undergo immunization will not be able to visit shopping, tourist, or entertainment facilities, as well as cafes and restaurants.
These centers will be open to the public only for people who have completed the full course of vaccination.
But there is one nuance here too.
Restrictions will be lifted only after two weeks have passed from the date of the second dose of the vaccine.
Note that restrictive measures against the population who refuse to be vaccinated are increasingly being introduced in Western European countries.
To monitor compliance with the regulations, vaccination certificates are being introduced, the absence of which deprives the right of access not only to public places, but also creates difficulties with work.
