Marina Helena (Novo) said that José Luiz Datena (PSDB) “stole” her chair to attack Pablo Marçal (PRTB) and that she had to “run” to avoid being caught in the middle of the confusion at the beginning of the fourth block of the TV Cultura debate between candidates for Mayor of São Paulo this Sunday (15).
To the press, Marina Helena also stated that the chair thrown by Datena went “over” her and that Marçal was hit once.
Datena was expelled from the debate shortly afterwards, and Pablo Marçal was taken to the Sírio-Libanês hospital, in São Paulo, with pain in his ribs, according to the candidate’s advisors.
Upon leaving, Datena said that he did not regret what had happened and that the PRTB opponent “deserved what he got”.
