Systems analyst Carla Maria de Oliveira e Souza, daughter of hematologist José Roberto Souza, told CNN that the signature on the supposed report released by her is not her father’s, now dead.

The document released by the PRTB candidate on Instagram on Friday night (4) reported an alleged hospitalization of the candidate, and showed that he was in a psychotic episode due to cocaine use. Carla stated that the signature on the document was not her father’s.

“That is a sheet that anyone can print. They added my father’s CRM and a signature that wasn’t his. You can look for it in any official document,” he said.

The case of the signature was revealed by journalist Malu Gaspar, from the newspaper “O Globo”, and confirmed by CNNwho spoke to the doctor’s daughter.

Carla said that, during the early hours of the morning, around 3:30 am, she was woken up by a court officer, who arrived at her condominium in Valinhos, in the interior of São Paulo. Because she was bedridden, she was unable to welcome him in person, but spoke to him via WhatsApp messages.

The document sent by the court official, according to Carla, contained errors in Portuguese and was nothing more than “rough paper”, according to the doctor’s daughter.

“You can’t call it a document. It was a little sheet with a prescription and the guy making a referral to a psychiatrist because the patient was in a psychotic episode,” he said.

The doctor’s daughter also described a grammatical error in the supposed report. “I’m bedridden, but my cognition is great. It was written Guilherme Castro Boulos, by ‘my’ answered”, he pointed out.

Carla also lamented the situation, remembering her father’s career: “It’s sad that we find ourselves involved in a situation like this. My father was a hematologist and worked his entire life in Campinas treating children with leukemia. I don’t know how the owner of the clinic got his CRM”, he concluded.

“It’s sad that we find ourselves involved in a situation like this. My father was a hematologist and worked his whole life in Campinas. He started medicine in Campinas taking care of children with leukemia a long time ago (70s). I don’t know how the owner of the clinic got hold of his CRM.”

Federal Police investigate

The Federal Police opened an investigation this Saturday (5) to investigate the alleged medical report. Earlier, the Regional Electoral Court of São Paulo (TRE-SP) had ordered that Marçal (PRTB) .

According to Boulos, the owner of the clinic who issued the report on Boulos, was a supporter of Marçal and had falsified the document. Teixeira was sentenced, in 2020, to two years and four months in prison for falsifying documents.

The PSOL candidate stated that, the day after what appears in the medical record, he was in the Community of Vietnam, in the south, “distributing basic food baskets”.

A CNN contacted Marçal’s campaign and Luiz Teixeira to comment on this Saturday’s decision and is awaiting feedback.
