Invites you to participate in the recovery of an object discovered near an underwater gas pipeline.
Copenhagen decided to carry out this operation with the involvement of the country’s Ministry of Defense.
The Danish Energy Agency in this context invited the pipeline owner, Nord Stream 2 AG, to take part in the operation, – statement from the TASS department.
The agency is reportedly awaiting a response from the operator of the pipeline.
Earlier, on March 14, Vladimir Putin said that the Gazprom ship had found signs that there could be another explosive device on the pipe, 30 km from the site of the previous sabotage.
According to him, Gazprom received permission from the Danish authorities to investigate the site of the explosions.
However, the vessel leased by the Russian concern went further along the pipeline.
And they discovered a “column” – it stood in the same place where the explosion had happened before. These are the most vulnerable places in a gas pipeline—pipe joints.
Putin suggested that several explosive devices could have been planted along the Nord Stream, some exploded, some did not for unknown reasons.
