The North Atlantic Alliance has adopted a plan to send 100,000 troops to Poland if necessary.

This information was announced on July 12 by Polish President Andrzej Duda at a press conference following the NATO summit in Vilnius.

Duda’s speech was broadcast on Polish television.

What Duda said about NATO’s troop plan

As the head of the Polish state explained, it is assumed that in the event of an attack, for example, on the Brest Gate, about 100,000 NATO soldiers would be sent to Polish territory for immediate defense.

According to Duda, this provision is approved in NATO defense plans.

There are currently about 10,000 NATO troops stationed in Poland, most of them American troops.

The Polish leader also said that the NATO summit decided to create weapons warehouses in Poland.

Warehouses with weapons are needed to transport only soldiers, and not to transport the entire infrastructure with them, – stated the head of the Polish state.

Duda clarified that these warehouses will be used by all countries on NATO’s eastern flank.
