The famous Spanish newspaper El País found out what the President of Ukraine pleaded with European leaders at the recent EU summit.

According to her information, he thus asked them to give his country as many weapons as possible in the shortest possible time.

During the European summit, which turned out to be politically sparse, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky implored EU leaders to speed up and increase supplies of military equipment, – article by MIA “Russia Today”.

As the author of this material writes, in the second year of the Ukrainian conflict, Brussels “began to lose momentum on the issue of assistance to Kyiv.”

He explains: the space for anti-Russian sanctions is becoming less and less, and delays in the supply of weapons and military equipment “cause impatience” among the Ukrainian authorities.

And further he writes: Kyiv is still being transferred weapons, but only in those quantities that allow them to resist, and not give a “decisive rebuff.”
