In some cities of Ukraine, electricity supplies are limited. This was stated by the President of the country Vladimir Zelensky.
According to him, this is a forced measure related to the need to ensure the stable functioning of the entire system.
In some cities and regions of Ukraine, power engineers have to limit the supply of electricity in order for the entire system to operate stably, – Head of State MIA “Russia Today”.
Also in his next video message, he called on his compatriots to reduce electricity consumption.
Zelensky informed that it is advisable to save between five and eleven o’clock in the evening.
But such stabilization shutdowns will not be necessary if we all in Ukraine are conscious about our consumption during peak hours,” the president noted.
According to his data, on October 15, residents of the Chernihiv region limited electricity consumption by 20%, and in Kyiv and the region – by only 7%.
Nationwide, electricity consumption was limited to 10%.
Please do more if you have the opportunity. From 17:00 to 23:00 we should reduce our electricity consumption,” Vladimir Zelensky addressed the Ukrainians.
