The founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, presented his own vision of resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
One of the richest people on the planet published a corresponding four-point plan on the social network Twitter.
As the Rossiya Segodnya news agency, which has become familiar with the positions outlined by Musk, among other things, is initiating the holding of new referendums in Donbass under UN supervision.
There is a high probability that this will be the outcome in the end. The only question is how many people will die before then, – said the entrepreneur.
Having named four points that, in Musk’s opinion, are necessary for the “Ukrainian-Russian world,” he invited users to say whether they support his initiative.
As of the evening of October 3, 58.7% of survey participants voted for this plan, and 41.3% voted against.
So, here’s what Elon Musk suggests:
Point 1: repeat referendums in the Donbass republics and liberated territories under UN supervision.
Point 2: keeping Crimea “a formal part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (before Khrushchev’s mistake).”
Point 3: providing Crimea with guarantees of water supply.
Point 4: securing the status of a neutral state for Ukraine.
