The plane crash happened in the American state of Michigan – a MiG-23 plane crashed there.
The incident took place last Sunday during an air show, when the plane was performing a demonstration flight.
The TASS agency reported this with reference to a statement from the press service of Detroit International Airport.
According to published information, the incident occurred on August 13 at about four o’clock in the evening (about 23:00 Belarusian time).
The plane crashed into the parking lot of an apartment complex in Belleville near Detroit, hitting several cars.
It is reported that the pilot and second crew member managed to eject and were taken to the hospital, although they did not receive serious injuries.
According to the press service, as well as American media, no one else was injured as a result of the plane crash.
Due to the incident, air show organizers were forced to end the event early.
Specialists from the US Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the incident.
