Estonian military personnel are forced to drink Russian-made tea

0views

The Estonian military, despite anti-Russian sanctions, is forced to purchase Russian-made tea.

The reason for this situation is that contracts for the supply of tea products from the Russian Federation were concluded even before the start of the special operation.

The information was transmitted by the state broadcaster ERR.

The dry rations of the Estonian Defense Forces include Greenfield tea produced in St. Petersburg.

The Defense Investment Center undertook to purchase this product, and after the outbreak of the military conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, it was no longer possible to refuse to purchase this brand of tea.

The publication notes that after the start of the SVO, many Estonian retail chains refused to purchase Russian products.

Greenfield brand tea has disappeared from Estonian stores – but if the population of Estonia can make a moral choice, then the military of this country does not have such a luxury.

The tender for the purchase of this tea was registered in 2020.
