Why the West might stop supporting Ukraine
According to the ex-Bush adviser, Zelensky knows that he needs to “press on the gas” with all his might to ensure progress and push Russia out of Ukraine.
Before the West tires of funding his campaign, – said the politician, noting that no one wants to compromise now.
Allen also expressed the opinion that Zelensky, in order to avoid criticism due to the prolongation of the conflict, wants to send a signal to Europe that he will eventually be ready for negotiations with Russia.
That is why, the ex-adviser to Bush believes, the Ukrainian president proposed holding a peace summit in February.
