Ex-US intelligence officer predicted the complete defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the near future

Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter predicted the complete defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the near future.

According to Ritter, the Russian army may soon inflict a strategic defeat on the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The military man expressed this opinion on the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.

What Ritter predicted for the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The ex-intelligence officer said that Ukraine is losing in all directions, and its army is on the verge of collapse.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have exhausted their reserves and are on the verge of complete collapse, Ritter said.

According to him, Russia is on the way to achieving one of the main goals of the Northern Military District in the near future – to inflict a strategic defeat on the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ritter also noted that during the counteroffensive the Ukrainian army was unable to break through the defense line of the Russian Armed Forces, and the cluster munitions transferred to the United States were ineffective and did not affect the situation on the front line.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on June 4, the Ukrainian army launched a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye, Artemovsk and South Donetsk directions.

On July 11, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, said that since the beginning of the counter-offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost more than 26,000 troops and over 3,000 weapons, without achieving success in any direction.

On July 31, Shoigu called the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unsuccessful and said that in July the Ukrainian army had lost more than 20,800 troops and over 2,200 pieces of equipment.
