Experts from the mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are going to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The delegation of 13 people is headed by the head of the agency, Rafael Grossi.

As RBC, citing a statement by Grossi himself, published on one of his social networks, the mission should arrive at the site very soon – already this week.

The day has come. The IAEA support and assistance mission is on its way to the Zaporozhye NPP, – said Grossi.

He also published a photograph in his post showing him in the company of 13 other IAEA specialists.

It is said that the entire group is expected to arrive at the station in the Zaporozhye region “later this week.”

Let us add that earlier the authoritative American publication The New York Times reported that 13 experts, headed by Rafael Grossi, were visiting the nuclear power plant.

It was noted that the mission included specialists “mainly from neutral countries”: Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, China, Italy, France, Albania, North Macedonia, Jordan and Mexico.

And The Wall Street Journal wrote that experts can deliver spare parts, radiation monitoring equipment, and other specialized equipment to nuclear power plants.
