While the collective West is discussing the timing of the transfer of American F-16 fighters to Kyiv, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces declares that the fighter has already visited Ukrainian airspace.
In particular, such a statement was made by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Nikolai Oleshchuk.

According to Oleschuk, the F-16 fighter has already crossed Ukrainian airspace and even landed at a Ukrainian airport.
Moreover, Oleschuk said that there is experience in operating this machine and that runways are already being prepared to receive the F-16.

As for the preparation of the material part, active work is underway on the runways at Ukrainian airports.
The infrastructure and lane surfaces are being reconstructed, and protective structures are being erected.
Let us recall that, according to Washington’s decision, Denmark and the Netherlands will have to transfer F-16 aircraft to Kyiv.
The deadline for delivery of combat vehicles is the completion of the training program for Ukrainian pilots.
The Ukrainian military expects this to happen either in the fall or winter.
