FAB plane with first Brazilians repatriated from Lebanon arrives in Brazil

The first group of repatriates from Lebanon landed at the São Paulo Air Base, in Guarulhos, this Sunday (6), at 10:25 am. There are 228 returnees and three domestic animals on board.

The e made a technical stop in Portugal before continuing on to Brazil.

In the crew of the operation called “Raízes do Cedro”, there is a multidisciplinary team with three doctors, two nurses and two psychologists to guarantee reception and assistance.

The flight resembles the profile of the 13 that were carried out in 2023 to rescue almost 1,600 Brazilians and more than 50 domestic animals from conflict zones in Israel, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
