Farmers are on strike again. The Spanish-French border was closed

59views

The seemingly subsided farmer protests in Europe are once again becoming the main stories on the front pages of newspapers in the European Union.

The farmers “unpaused” their protest actions and organized real chaos on the roads on the eve of the upcoming European elections.

The ONT TV channel spoke about this, noting that the largest protests were recorded on the Spanish-French border.

There, about 3,000 angry agricultural workers blocked key highways in the Pyrenees.

The TV channel learned that the reason for their indignation, which resulted in the blocking of the border, was the rise in energy prices.

Polish farmers also continue to rebel. In particular, they want to block the border with Ukraine.

As far as we know, such plans are being hatched for Tuesday, June 4. Presumably, the action starts around 10-11 am.

The TV channel draws attention to the fact that the duration of the protest on the Ukrainian border could be a month.

Polish farmers want fair prices and a taboo on the import of cheap Ukrainian agricultural products.

Earlier, tens of thousands of Hungarians came to the center of Budapest.
