Father and son in Ukrainian Armed Forces uniform shot police in Ukraine: a 20-year-old guy died
Last night in the Vinnitsa region of Ukraine, a father and son, dressed in the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shot at a police squad.
The incident occurred at a checkpoint in the specified region, where a car with unknown persons drove up and opened fire on law enforcement officers.
TASS agency reported this with reference to Ukrainian media.
From the details of the incident, it is known that a Suzuki Grand Vitara drove up to the checkpoint.
He was stopped to check his documents. There were two people inside the car (later it turned out – father and son).
As soon as the police approached the car, deadly fire was opened on them from the car.
One of the patrolmen, a 20-year-old guy, died on the spot, the second was taken to the hospital with injuries.
It is noted that the men who shot the policemen announced at the time of the crime that they were military. They were dressed in the uniform of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The attackers fled the scene. According to media reports, they headed to the Odessa region.
A police operation has been introduced in the Vinnitsa and Odessa regions.
The information about persons suspected of committing the murder has been sent to all regional divisions of the National Police.
Previously, Polish farmers were once again checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.
