Recently it became known that Finland is supplying Ukraine with the latest weapons. Moreover, it is so new that it has not yet been tested.
The head of the military economics department of the Finnish Defense Forces, Mikko Heiskanen, said this in an interview with the STT news agency.
He also spoke about the shipment of the latest new products to the Finnish defense industry, some of which are still at the development stage, – publication of MIA “Russia Today”.
It is also noted that, in the opinion of the lieutenant general, the experience gained in Ukraine will make it possible to more effectively develop the latest Finnish equipment.
Let us add that in April of this year, Helsinki transferred the 23rd package of military assistance to Kyiv in the amount of 188 million euros.
And the head of the Suomi government, Petteri Orpo, recently notified that the transfer of the next aid package had been agreed upon.
However, the Prime Minister did not say what exactly was included in it; however, the country’s officials did not disclose details regarding previous packages.
Earlier it became known where the F-16s transferred to Ukraine would be.
