Flood death toll in China rises to 25

The death toll from flooding in Zhengzhou, China has more than doubled.

According to the latest information, 25 people became victims of the flood.

Previously, 12 deaths were reported. Seven people are listed as missing.

Let us remind you that for several days it rained heavily in the central province of Henan, which caused flooding.

The city of Zhengzhou was hit the hardest. 12 people died when a train flooded in a subway tunnel.

A dam broke at one of the reservoirs, and therefore the first emergency response level was declared in the region, and the national threat level was raised to the second.

In total, 560 settlements were affected by the flood.

According to meteorologists, showers in the region will last at least until this evening.
