For the first time in almost 30 years, a British Challenger 2 tank was destroyed in a battle on Ukrainian territory.

The liquidation of the tank was reported by The Guardian newspaper, commenting on a video of a smoking combat vehicle that appeared on social networks.

Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a representative of the administration of the Russian-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region, announced the destruction of the tank.

It is known that Challenger 2 was destroyed near Rabotino, the region mentioned above.
