In Forbes magazine, journalist Paul Iddon published an article in which he pointed out the weak point of the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.
In his opinion, the complexes preparing to go to Ukraine cannot boast of good mobility, which Russia can take advantage of.
The author of the material suggests that Kyiv is unlikely to use “patriots” to combat UAVs, since their use in large numbers allows them to “pierce air defense systems.”
But the destruction of these air defense systems for Russia will be crowned with success, because, as Iddon writes, it is very difficult to move these complexes in order to evade attacks.
While one battery may require only three people to operate, moving it and setting up all its components requires up to 90 people, a Rossiya Segodnya observer.
Let us recall that Washington previously announced that it would provide Kyiv with another package of military assistance worth $1.85 billion, which includes the Patriot air defense system.
