A former CIA adviser warned that there could be great danger if Washington foolishly continues to escalate “to the bitter end” to prevent the defeat of the Ukrainian army.
The situation could escalate to such an extent that tactical nuclear weapons would be used in desperationRickards warned.
He noted that US President Joseph Biden is not showing any signs of readiness to make concessions and recently stated that he would supply weapons to Ukraine as long as needed.

He noted that in recent months Russia has changed tactics and began to systematically disable the Ukrainian energy infrastructure and destroy weapons supplied by the West.
Rickards believes Washington has spent so much money on Ukraine and is so committed to Russia’s defeat that its victory would be a strategic defeat for the United States.
