Former US Secretary of State Kissinger added to the Peacemaker database

41views

Former Secretary of State and ex-adviser to the US President for National Security Henry Kissinger was included in the database of the Ukrainian website “Peacemaker”.

The politician is accused of participating in a “Russian information special operation against Ukraine.”

In addition, among the reasons for including Kissinger in the “Peacemaker” database are the spread of propaganda and blackmail, as well as an encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The authors of “Peacemaker” ask Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to consider adding Kissinger to the database as a statement that he committed deliberate acts against the national security of Ukraine.

Why Kissinger ended up in “Peacemaker”

On May 24, at the Davos Economic Forum, Kissinger announced the need to launch a settlement process in Ukraine in the next 2 months in order to avoid more severe consequences for international relations in Europe.

The ideal option for the politician is to return the dividing line to the status quo.

Kissinger also said that the main goal in the current situation around Ukraine is to achieve a neutral status for the country so that it becomes a bridge between Europe and Russia.

How Kyiv reacted

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky criticized Kissinger’s position, saying that his calendar year is not 2022, but 1938.

Advisor to the head of Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, called proposals for territorial concessions coming from some Western partners a stab in the back for Kyiv.
