Former US Secretary of State named 3 options for ending the conflict in Ukraine

45views

Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger admits three possible scenarios for ending the conflict in Ukraine.

Or rather, events in this country, in his opinion, could end in one of the three most possible options.

MIA Rossiya Segodnya spoke about this, noting that the politician outlined his vision of finishing the Russian special operation in an interview with Spectator magazine.

First option: Russia will gain control of most of the Donbass, including agricultural and industrial areas, plus “a strip of land along the Black Sea.”

Mr. Kissinger calls this outcome of the military special operation a victory for Russia.

In this case, NATO’s role will not be as decisive as previously thought,” he noted.

Second option: there is an attempt to “oust” Russia out of Crimea, which leads to an escalation of the conflict.

Third option: as a result of military operations, the situation “rolls back” to the conditions before the start of the military special operation, that is, until February 24.

Unresolved issues can be discussed at negotiations. The situation will likely be frozen for some time, Kissinger said.
