188views

Four NATO countries of the European Union have agreed to develop long-range cruise missiles.

We are talking about Germany, France, Italy and Poland.

Representatives of these states reached an agreement on the joint development of these weapons during the recent North Atlantic Alliance summit in the United States.

TASS reported this with reference to information released by Reuters.

The latter claims that, according to the agreement, the missiles being developed will have a range of more than 500 kilometers.

And the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reports that the range of these missiles will exceed 1,000 kilometers.

According to her, they will be able to “reach Russian targets from German territory.”

In turn, the Italian media draw attention to the fact that the document was signed by the countries to “strengthen ground defense.”
