The researchers asked 60.7 thousand people in different countries. The survey was conducted via telephone communications and via the Internet in 2022.

Total survey conducted

Each respondent was asked about the prospects for the dollar in the next 25 years.

Researchers tried to find out the opinion of the population of the leading countries of the world regarding whether the dollar can remain a world currency in the next few decades.

According to the survey, 47% of the population expects the dollar to lose its leading position and cease to be the world’s leading currency in the next 25 years. A third of the world’s inhabitants are confident that this will not happen; the remaining respondents did not answer the questions posed.

This was the first time a study of this kind was conducted, so the dynamics were not monitored.
