Gas prices in Europe have fallen sharply. How much does a thousand cubic meters cost now?

0views

The cost of blue fuel in Europe has dropped sharply.

On the morning of October 7, one thousand cubic meters of natural gas was valued at $973.

Thus, the figure fell below the $1,000 mark for the first time since the end of last month.

This was reported by news agencies with reference to preliminary trading results on the stock exchange.

It is worth noting that today the opening of trading platforms began with a cost of $1,250 per 1 thousand cubic meters of fuel.

Thus, on Thursday morning, natural gas prices fell by 22 percent.

However, a little later the situation changed somewhat. At 10:40, a thousand cubic meters of blue fuel again began to cost more than $1,000 and even began to approach the $1,100 mark.

Let us remind you that gas prices have risen significantly in Europe in recent weeks.

Such record levels as 800, 900, 1000, 1200 and even 1600 dollars per 1000 cubic meters were reached.

There were even suggestions that the figure might be exceeded by $2,000.

The reason for what is happening is said to be a decrease in fuel reserves in European gas storage facilities, as well as difficulties with supplies from the Russian Federation.
