Gas supplies via Turkish Stream have been resumed

0views

After a downtime, Russian gas supplies via Turkish Stream were resumed today.

Today, the line remains the only route for the supply of blue fuel to the markets of Southern and South-Eastern Europe, as well as to Turkey. Due to repairs, work was suspended from June 5 to June 12.

Gazprom has begun transporting gas along the Turkish Stream branch, MIA reports citing a company statement.

In the period from June 5 to June 12, planned preventative work was carried out on this branch.

At the moment, the work has been completed and the gas pipeline has been put into operation.

Through this branch of the gas pipeline, blue fuel is supplied from Russia to Turkey along the bottom of the Black Sea.

The declared design capacity of the pipeline is 31.5 billion cubic meters of fuel per year.

In addition to Turkey, gas also transits through this route to the countries of Southern and South-Eastern Europe.

For known reasons, today this is the only opportunity to receive uninterrupted supplies of Russian gas on the European market.
