Mikhail Podolyak made an important statement regarding the situation with the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The adviser to the head of the office of the president of this country assures his compatriots: the large-scale offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is going according to plan.

Offensive operations are proceeding according to the plan of the General Staff, and they are effectively conducting offensive operations, – policy of MIA “Russia Today”.

And he assessed the opinions that the counter-offensive was proceeding at an extremely slow pace as infantile.

It would be desirable if they watched “Rambo” less and read their textbooks more, then there would be less infantilism and Hollywood expectations of developments,” Podolyak recommended.

The news agency reminds: the widely publicized counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces started on June 4.

The Ukrainian army places its main emphasis on advances in three key directions: Zaporozhye, South Donetsk and Artemovsk.

According to media reports, NATO-trained brigades are participating in the battles, as well as Western military equipment, including German leopards.

Not so long ago, Vladimir Putin said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not achieve the results expected from the counteroffensive, with which Kyiv’s Western curators were also disappointed.
