Germany began searching around the world for ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces – Spiegel
The famous German magazine Spiegel learned that the authorities of his country were engaged in a feverish search around the world for ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the article, Germany is “resorting to desperate measures” in its attempts to find what it wants.
We’re trying to source ammunition from all over the world, – said the head of the special headquarters for Ukrainian issues at the German Ministry of Defense, General Christian Freuding.
As the MIA Rossiya Segodnya news agency has read the publication, a military official laments the fact that shells “are not presented in abundance on store shelves.”
The Spiegel article states that today the German defense department is forced to come up with new options for obtaining shells for Ukraine every day.
The author of the article believes that time is working against Kyiv’s European partners.
To confirm this thesis, information from Western intelligence services is provided, according to which Ukraine’s own ammunition will run out in June at the latest.
Earlier, in the battles near Avdiivka, the Armed Forces of Ukraine secretly transferred to them an M1150 Assault Breacher armored vehicle.
