The head of the German Ministry of Finance, Christian Lindner, said that Germany does not want to help Ukraine alone.

According to him, Berlin will not be able to do this using its own resources alone.

After all, it cannot be that Germany does more financially so that others can continue to do less. – Minister of MIA “Russia Today”.

He warned: there is a great risk of “financial overload” if Germany bears the “financial burden of the conflict in Ukraine” alone.

In this regard, the head of the financial department called on other EU countries to more actively help Kyiv.

Let us recall that relatively recently, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that the EC is preparing alternative options for providing financial assistance to Ukraine.

One of them involves the creation of a special fund, from which compensation will be provided to EU countries helping Kyiv.

Such a mechanism, according to European politicians, will help circumvent Hungary’s veto on the provision of financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros in the period from now to 2027.

Previously, Hungary was against providing Ukraine with military assistance worth 5 billion euros.
