Germany found an original way to refuse Kyiv

0views

The publication Spiegel reports a statement by the head of the German Ministry of Defense, Boris Pistorius.

Earlier, the German Defense Minister said that the country could not transfer F-16 fighters to Ukraine, since they do not have such aircraft.

It is noted that the Ukrainian administration continues to hope that Germany will become part of the so-called “fighter coalition.”

Pistorius says that Germany cannot join the coalition, since the country does not have F-16 fighter jets.

Over the past few months, the Kyiv administration has raised the issue of providing F-16 fighter jets for the Ukrainian Armed Forces many times.

So far, no specific decisions have been made by the West, but some countries have begun training Ukrainian pilots to fly such fighters.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that if the Ukrainian army receives combat aircraft, the Russian Armed Forces will consider the option of destroying it.
