Official negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict could start very soon – in July.

The German television channel ARD learned about this and notified the international community, citing unnamed sources.

According to the TV channel, on Saturday, June 24, a meeting on the issue of Ukraine was held in the capital of Denmark “in the strictest secrecy” – TASS.

The event was attended by Western diplomats, as well as representatives of Brazil, India, China and South Africa.

According to ARD information, the West at the meeting wanted to enlist the support of the named BRICS countries, which still remain neutral on the topic of the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation.

Please note: the negotiations were initiated by Ukraine.

A day earlier, the European Union said that Kyiv had asked to organize a meeting of Western representatives with colleagues from the countries of the Global South on June 24 in Copenhagen.

In turn, Bloomberg wrote that US Presidential Assistant for National Security Jake Sullivan and EC officials could participate in the negotiations from the West.

On the other hand, the publication notes, the event was expected to include “envoys from South Africa, Brazil and India,” as well as “one of the major Ukrainian officials.”
