Germany is sending Ukraine weapons so new that their own army does not have them – Scholz

As part of its ongoing arms supplies to Ukraine, Germany is also exporting the latest developments.

Moreover, they are so new that even the German military itself does not have some copies.

This statement was made by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, giving an interview to the press – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

He recalled that Berlin provided Kyiv with everything it had: from ammunition to mines, guns, anti-tank weapons and air defense systems.

And recently, Germany began supplying “more complex and valuable systems,” to which the Chancellor included self-propelled howitzers, MLRS, anti-aircraft systems, and artillery guidance radar systems.

Some of these systems are so new that only a very small number have been produced, and some of them have not yet even been put into service with the German Armed Forces, Scholz said.

And he added: the Ukrainian military is currently being trained to use this latest German equipment.
