Germany refused to register the Russian Sputnik V vaccine

0views

It became known that the German authorities refused to register the Russian vaccine against coronavirus infection, Sputnik V.

This decision is justified by the fact that the government does not want to coordinate the use of this drug separately from the decision of its partners in the European Union.

A corresponding statement was made by a representative of the German Ministry of Health.

We, of course, as a national state can certify any vaccines, this also applies to Sputnik V, but we decided to follow a pan-European approach to the registration of coronavirus vaccines,” TASS quotes a representative of the local Ministry of Health as saying.

Let us note that representatives of the Russian Direct Investment Fund previously stated that Sputnik V could be registered in the European Union before the end of the summer.

It also became known about the results of a study initiated by the European Medicines Agency regarding the world’s first vaccine against coronavirus infection, Sputnik V.

Based on the results of the analysis, no critical comments were made regarding the production or clinical parts.

The Sputnik V vaccine became the first in the world to be officially registered.
