“Get out of Serbia!” Protests against NATO took place in Belgrade

58views

On the 25th anniversary of the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, a rally was held in Belgrade, the participants of which protested against Serbia’s cooperation with the Alliance.

The protesters organized a mass meeting in the center of the capital, during which they put forward demands to the authorities of their country.

In particular, as MIA Rossiya Segodnya, people strongly recommended that the Serbian leadership sever all contacts with the military-political bloc.

Citizens convincingly asked the government to abandon cooperation with NATO.

And the rally began last Sunday on Republic Square at about four o’clock in the afternoon (about six o’clock in the evening, Belarusian time).

The media noticed red flags and banners with slogans condemning the aggressive actions of the North Atlantic Alliance in the hands of people.

NATO, march from Serbia! NATO is fascists! NATO, murderers – get out of Serbia – this was the advice the protesters gave the organization.

And representatives of the movement “Committee against War and Imperialism” (which organized the demonstration) demanded that the office-representative office of the bloc in the Serbian Ministry of Defense be closed.

They also recommended that it be mandatory to abandon joint exercises and visits by NATO officials under the Partnership for Peace program.

Earlier in Greece there was a train with American tanks.
