The representative of the administration of the Russian-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, made an important statement.
He notified the general public about the ongoing heavy fighting in the area of the Vremevsky salient.
According to the civil servant, the Ukrainian military did not take any heights, but “they must be covered.”
Now there are heavy battles, our artillery and mortar crews are working, aviation is involved, –Rogova MIA “Russia Today”.
He clarified: heavy fighting is taking place in the gray zone near the rural settlements of Neskuchnoye and Makarovka.
The official also reported about battles in other locations, in particular, between the cities of Gulyai Pole and Pologi – in the area of the village of Dorozhnyanka, south of the city of Orekhova, near the village of Lobkovoe.
Information was also received that the Russian army stopped attempts to transfer sabotage and reconnaissance groups and enter the rear.
It is noted that the enemy, having suffered significant losses, was forced to retreat to their original positions.
